Galleries 1-4 show projects while at Landmark Entertainment Group in Los Angeles.
Landmark was contracted by Sanrio Corporation to produce two theme parks in Japan.
Gallery 1 shows my work as a Model Maker and Project Lead of Art Director's models for the Theater of Natural Harmony at Harmonyland Park in Oita, Japan and the indoor Puroland Park outside of Tokyo. These highly detailed and accurate models were modular and used on site in Japan for the production of the real parks. I traveled to Tokyo to set up the models at the construction site.

Mirage Hotel Aquarium
Resin cast elements and elaborate optical fiber effects for the 20,000 gallon, 53-foot-long saltwater aquarium (the world’s longest at that time) were fabricated in Los Angeles and then installed in Las Vegas. The aquarium is meant to represent an Atlantis-like Arctic fantasy world.
Architectural Models
Architectural models to assist in the design of a new shop for the company which was moving from Hollywood to North Hollywood.
Fantastica
Model maker and Project Lead on this concept model for a proposed themed golf resort in Japan. I also set this model up in Japan for a presentation to the Japanese executives.
Gallery 3 shows a major Landmark project as Art Director, co-designer, and lead fabricator of scenic elements for a science fiction themed restaurant and retail space on Hollywood Blvd. Also did extensive print and media research especially of classic science fiction movies of the 30's-50's and Art Deco, toured JPL and was given a tour of the Ackermansion by Forest Ackerman himself. Responsible for coordinating with the owners and the various departments within Landmark for the design, working with the GC and subcontractors on site as well as my fabrication teams in two Landmark shops.
Samsung hired Landmark to produce their World Expo Pavilion in Korea.
Gallery 4 presents a series of my study models of the facility, scenic elements, an Art Director’s model engineered to be dismantled on site for further study and my work with the designers and engineers of the show ride inside. I accepted the position of Assistant Art Director for this multi-million dollar project.

Interactive Theater
Presentation model of an interactive movie theater commissioned by Michael Douglas and Japanese investors. The model utilized resin cast parts and featured a functioning video display and glycerin circulating overhead.
Pee-Wee's Playhouse
Fabrication of special props for the second season of the show in Los Angeles and maintenance of Chairry on set.
